42 Urduliz, the programming campus promoted by Fundación Telefónica and the Provincial Council of Biscay, has received the STEAM Euskadi Label for having participated in the STEAM Sariak with 2 of its initiatives: the Piscine Discovery Web – Women’s Edition and the introductory workshop on artificial intelligence.
The STEAM Euskadi Label
It is awarded to those initiatives recognised for having a marked STEAM education character, i.e. that aim to promote scientific vocations and STEM professional aspirations, as well as to improve the STEAM skills of the students. The STEAM Sariak awards are organised by the Basque Government’s Department of Education in collaboration with the Basque Innovation Agency, Innobasque.
The campus initiatives
- Piscine Discovery Web – Women’s Edition: this is a 5-day training experience focused on acquiring knowledge related to web programming through the innovative 42 methodology. In this case, it is a training exclusively for women.
- Introduction to artificial intelligence workshop: a 3-hour activity in which, in addition to getting to know the campus and its methodology, participants discover in a fun and practical way what this type of technology consists of and how it is trained.
From 42 Urduliz, we would like to thank you for this distinction.
